— April 19 2010: Two foals were born at the Hoeve last week, one from a mare called "Suus" and one from the "model" mare Hiltsje F. Both foals are doing well! Under the "video" button above you can click to video footage of the youngsters!

— From April 5 on, the Hoeve has reopened for all traffic. The Hoeve had quarantined itself because of a possible Rhino Pneumonia outbreak in a neighboring province. The Hoeve wanted to make absolutely shore no infections would occur at its stables.

— At this moment two mares are about to deliver. Bets have been taken on the birth time and the gender of the foals. One of the mares is the pride of Equestrian Center the Hoeve. This is a Friesian mare by the name Hiltsje F.

— Hiltsje F, the super mare of the Hoeve, was photographed a week ago for the famous “Phryso” magazine. This magazine is the prime magazine for Friesians and is published by the Royal Friesian organization of the Netherlands. The owners of Hiltsje, Arjan and Carolien de Groot, have been interviewed too.
